I push a button and a green light is supposed to come on. 15 minutes later after starting the stove, pellets are supposed to automatically fall into the fire bucket. The fans are working and it’s plugged in, but no green light and no auto auger. Are pellets stuck in auger or is it electrical?

Only problem is the only area we could install the stove is very far from the stairwell to the upstairs and I want to be certain that the heat makes it to my bedroom which is at the opposite end of the house AND up the stairs. Currently we have radiators today I tried to shut down the ones in the downstairs and just run the ones upstairs. Unfortunately the ones downstairs got hot. I’d hate to spend all that money installing a pellet only to have a cold upstairs and a boiling downstairs. Any suggestions?

Our pellet stove is not releasing smoke up through the chimney. Instead its smoking up our house. We cleaned out the chimney pipe and that wasnt the problem.

Any ideas on what could be wrong? Basically the smoke is coming inside the house instead of being released outside.

Our pellet stove wasn’t putting out much heat and was dripping black gunk so we cleaned the heck out of it and put it back together. and now it won’t stay lit. We light it and close the door and the flame goes out and turns into smoke. What do we do?
We’ve used the pellet stove for over three months. I’m not asking how to use it. I’m asking how to fix the problem. There are a bunch of Junk wad’s on Yahoo Answers. Thanks to all of you that are actually answering the question or that are giving me suggestions. For everyone else, take your 2 points and shove it.
